I’ve sent personal text messages to seven other servers at my restaurant to see if they’d be able to take my Thursday shifts—so I can visit on Wedneday-Thursday-Friday. Please.

It’s just 3 pages, and I think it read fairly quickly. Bah. I am tired of looking at it.

Personal requirements for this essay:
1. The quotation I chose must correspond to Rosenzweig in such a way that I can easily mention his ideas in the work, without a lot of finagling.
I think I may send Dr. Hall a holiday card, to say hello, and to tell him, though I was not in the best headspace for his theological existentialism class, I truly think about it absolutely every day of my life. This is no exaggeration. It is powerful...

oh life, with your colorful surprises
I need to make myself unafraid to love COA (I know this sounds very cheesy.)
But life makes the most curious turns, and this might be the most curious and wonderful yet. Just what the doctor ordered.

Dear 14 year old me,
Hey. What page are you at in No One Here Gets Out Alive? Cool. Anyway. I know you’re weirded out by the idea of marriage, and have some concerns about exactly what it might entail, so now that I’ve been married for exactly one year, I thought I’d give you a rundown of…

I'm in Louisville, y'all.
Presents exchanged! Sushi consumed! Trivia night with the grandparents and parents and brother and uncle! Maybe a movie later!
I like it here so much!

I remember, in sixth grade, when I was trying to feel more devout, I brought my Bible to school to read during silent reading. I was being bullied, and it did make me feel a bit better, but I was kind of embarrassed to have it in class.
One of my bullies, Cassie, “informed” me that bringing a Bible to school was “illegal.” Uh, what? No. I was reading for my own sake, for...

Griffin's mom has got it going on.
I know it might be wrong, but I’m in love with Griffin’s mom. Because, oh, read her writing. I flatter myself to think we are kindred spirits.

corona—graminea:
It’s a shame that most knitting and crafting blogs are dominated by kitsch and cutesy stuff. Not because that kind of thing is bad but I just have no interest in it and I wish that there was more diversity in the aesthetics of the crafting world.
Also like a lot of knitters my friends send me…
I relate to this. I rarely ever refer to myself as (gulp)...

Reasons to really, really stop pulling:
As I am not taking Vyvanse any more… (surprise), I am pulling a lot less.
Some motivation to be even more conscientious about it is that I would really like to be an old woman with long hair. Of course, this is in… about 40 more years. Still, I’d rather not ruin all my hair follicles at the tender age of 21, right?
